Thermal Annealing of Fiber Bragg Gratings Directly Inscribed by an Ultrafast Infrared Laser

Abstract

Thermal characteristics of gratings inscribed by an infrared femtosecond laser are studied at temperatures ranged from 500oC to 1050oC. Stability of gratings at temperatures up to 900oC has been observed.
