Time Dynamics of Low Jitter Single Mode Laser Source for Arbitrary Repetition Rates

Abstract

A novel pulse seeding set-up is used to generate low jitter single mode laser pulses from a gain-switched Fabry-Perot laser at arbitrary low repetition rates. A timing jitter below 500 fs is obtained.
