Cavity-Enhanced Spectroscopy using Pump-Probe Differencing

Abstract

We present a relatively simple experimental technique enabling mechanical-noise free, cavity-enhanced spectroscopic measurements of an atomic transition and its hyperfine structure. We demonstrate this technique at 532nm with an iodine vapour cell.
