Abstract

Liquid-core / liquid-cladding waveguides are dynamic; their operation depends on a continuous, laminar flow of a core and cladding fluid. We demonstrate single -mode and multi-mode waveguiding, switchin g and tunable evanescent coupling between liquid cores.
