An Ultra Low Jitter Pulse Source Based on Coupled Optoelectronic Oscillators with an Intracavity Fiber Parametric Amplifier

Abstract

We present a low noise self starting optical pulse source composed of coupled optoelectronic oscillators and an intracavity fiber parametric amplifier. 3 ps pulses at 10 GHz with a jitter of 29 − 40 f s are demonstrated.
