Interferometric FROG for characterization of few-cycle laser pulses

Abstract

We retrieve and evaluate the standard SHG-FROG trace and a new phase-sensitive modulational component from a spectrally resolved interferometric autocorrelation. We demonstrate this novel FROG method with 7.5-fs pulses from a white-light continuum.
