Localized Enhancement of Supercontinuum Generation using Fiber Bragg Gratings

Abstract

Supercontinuum in a fiber-Bragg grating shows a strong enhancement near the grating resonance, even at wavelengths outside the continuum bandwidth, corresponding to the pump third-harmonic. We also show the power dependence of the grating enhancement.
