Frequency Comb Dynamics of a Solitonic Fiber Laser: Theory

Abstract

The effects of Raman scattering, self-steepening, and higher-order dispersion on a fiber-laser frequency comb are analyzed using perturbation theory. Transfer functions are derived for the comb response to change in cavity length or pump power.
