Guided resonances in photonic crystal slabs studied with terahertz time domain spectroscopy

Abstract

Photonic crystal slabs with hexagonal-lattice air-hole arrays are studied experimentally using coherent single-cycle terahertz pulses. Transmission measurements reveal the properties of guided resonances, in both time and frequency domain.
