Abstract

We investigate carrier-envelope phase (CEP) stability of femtosecond pulses propagating through a grating based stretcher/compressor (SC) [1]. We do not find CEP noise intrinsic to the SC. Preliminary results on CEP stabilized amplified pulses are presented.
