Nonlinear Optical Effects for the Generation of Millimeter Wave Signals

Abstract

A new and simple method for the generation of millimeter-waves with nonlinear effects is presented. With this method tunable millimeter waves with a frequency only determined by the bandwidth of the photodiode can be generated.
