High Modulation Speed Photonic Crystal Nanocavity Array Laser

Abstract

We designed a new laser composed of two-dimensional coupled photonic crystal microcavity arrays that can operate at speeds above 100GHz with large power conversion efficiency. We will present time-domain measurements, which support our theoretical predictions.
