Ultrashort Pulse Generation Using Temporally Overlapped Two Colored Twin Pulses Generated by Pulse Trapping

Abstract

36 fs ultrashort pulse generation is demonstrated using 121 fs temporally overlapped two colored twin pulses generated by pulse trapping in birefringent fiber. The phase locking between two pulses is confirmed for the first time.
