Electromagnetically Induced Wire-Like DFB Laser

Abstract

Gain without inversion and resonant enhancement of refractive index in the conduction intersubband transitions of quantum wells are used to propose an electromagnetically induced wirelike DFB laser where optical feedback is coherently generated by an infrared laser.
