Advance in Type II InAs/GaSb Superlattice Photodiodes for LWIR Detection and Imaging

Abstract

Recent effort has lifted the Quantum Efficiency of Type-II InAs/GaSb superlattice photodetectors to 54%, comparable to the state-of-the-art MCT technology. High quality Type II Superlattice Focal Plane Array with a 12 µm cut-off wavelength was demonstrated.
