A New Method for the Realization of a Tunable Terahertz Photonic Bandgap

Abstract

We report the experimental realization of a tunable terahertz photonic bandgap structure. The bandgap can be linearly controlled by adjusting the air gap between the top of the metallic photonic crystals and the cover plate.
