Advances in Monolithic Integration of InP based Optoelectronics

Abstract

The maturity of design and processing techniques for the fabrication of photonic integrated circuits in InP is discussed. Manufacturing state-of-the-art is illustrated through examples in broadband tuneable lasers and broadband 10GBit/s transmitters.
