Injection-locked femtosecond Ti:sapphire lasers

Abstract

We demonstrate injection locking of 1 and 1.5 GHz femtosecond Ti:sapphire lasers by a second, physically separate and independent 1 GHz laser. In some cases, both the pulse envelopes and optical carriers are locked.
