Temperature Insensitive Ultra Low Threshold Lasing in Quantum-Dot Photonic-Crystal Nanocavities

Abstract

Temperature insensitive ultra low threshold lasing up to 90 K is observed in quantum dots in photonic crystal nanocavities, due to the fast radiative recombination of excitons and the suppression of the phonon scattering probability.
