Threshold Analysis of Longitudinal Modes in Surface Emitting Organic Distributed Feedback Lasers

Abstract

We present theoretical analysis of the mode discrimination and threshold gain of multiple longitudinal modes observed from a surface-emitting organic DFB laser. Based on the individual pumping threshold energy, the corresponding extraction ratio is estimated.
