Abstract

Fluorescence/Raman scattering in a liquid-core optical fiber waveguide based on hollow-core photonic-crystal fibers was demonstrated. 10 times of signal enhancement in a 6-cm long fiber was achieved. Different PCFs showed different enhancement factors.
