Collision of orthogonally polarized solitons in photonic crystal fiber

Abstract

We study experimentally the propagation and collision of two orthogonally polarized solitons in a weakly-birefringent photonic crystal fiber. The collision occurs at a particular power and initiates energy transfer between the colliding solitons.
