2×2 Deflection Routing Node for Optical Packet-switched Networks

Abstract

We experimentally demonstrated a 2×2 deflection routing module for all-optical packet-switched networks. Output port contentions are resolved based on all-optical processing of the packet headers. Both the header and payload rates are 10 Gb/s.
