Abstract

Calibration of diffuse reflectance spectrum for instrument response and time-dependent fluctuation is complicated, time-consuming and potentially inaccurate. We demonstrate a novel fiber optic probe with real-time, self-calibration capability that can be used for tissue spectroscopy.
