Electrokinetic Control of Single Molecules in Fused Silica Fluidic Nanochannels

Abstract

We discuss single-molecule detection of fluorescently-labeled proteins in solution within a nanochannel fabricated in fused silica. Confocal fluorescence microscopy and fluorescence correlation spectroscopy are employed to monitor the motion of single molecules under electrokinetic control.
