Abstract

We demonstrate 40-GS/s all-optical wavelength division sampling using four-wave mixing in a dispersion-flattened photonic crystal fiber. Our 4×10-GHz time- and wavelength-interleaved sampling laser source is generated through multiwavelength cross-absorption modulation and optical dispersion management.
