Multicanonical Monte Carlo Study of Noisy Signal Evolution in 2R All-Optical Regenerators with Normal and Anomalous Average Dispersions

Abstract

We show that evolutions of optical noise on the background of a strongly nonlinear signal pulse are similar in Mamyshev-type regenerators employing maps with either normal or anomalous average dispersion.
