Recognition of double-stranded DNA by gold nanoprobes for malignant melanoma detection

Abstract

We report the detection of mutated BRAF gene expressed in malignant melanoma. We demonstrate the detection of short and long, single-and double-stranded DNAs using gold nanoprobes.
