Photoionization of Xe Clusters Under Intense XUV Irradiation

Abstract

We report on the study of xenon clusters irradiated by intense, femtosecond XUV pulses. Focused 38nm high harmonic radiation irradiates clusters of ~103 atoms, producing energetic ions consistent with a collective cluster response.
