Abstract

We present two ultrabroadband optical parametric amplifiers based on periodically poled stoichiometric lithium tantalate. Both systems produce two-cycle pulses, in the near-infrared (8.5 fs at 1.3 μm) and mid-infrared (25 fs at 3.5 μm) respectively.
