Abstract

A new method for precise frequency measurement of continuous-wave terahertz (THz) wave is proposed by using a THz frequency comb of photocurrent in a photoconductive antenna for THz detection. Effectiveness of the proposed method is demonstrated by measurement of a test source. Precision of the frequency measurement was 2.2×10−11 within the range of 75-110 GHz.
