Abstract

Organic nonlinear crystals are most promising materials for efficient THz wave generation using DFG as well as TDS. Two kinds of organic crystals : 4-dimethylamino-N-methyl-4-stilbazolium tosylate (DAST) and N-benzyl-2-methyl-4-nitroaniline (BNA) are investigated for ultra-wide THz-wave generation. New THz applications will be presented using frequency-agile THz sources.
