Double-sided-actuated deformable mirror for ultrafast optics from UV to mid-IR

Abstract

Active mirrors with two planes of pads and capable to be deformed bidirectionally were developed for the pulse shaping in ultrafast optics from mid-IR to UV. Influence functions were measured and agreed with deformed-membrane model.
