Abstract

We demonstrate a silicon-on-insulator microring resonator with a free-spectral-range of 0.32nm, an extinction ratio of 27dB, and a quality factor of ~140900 at 1550nm that is used for pulse repetition-rate multiplication from 10 to 40GHz.
