Abstract

Direct amplification of ultra short pulses at 1037nm from fiber-oscillators to average powers of ~100 W at 48 MHz is demonstrated using single-stage amplifiers comprising new all-glass-leakage-channel-fibers, providing >70% slope efficiency and >33 dB gain.
