Self-referenced spectral interferometry

Abstract

A new femtosecond pulses characterization method is presented and experimentally demonstrated. Linear spectral interferometry becomes a self-referenced measurement by the self-creation of a reference pulse using pulse shaping optimization and non linear temporal filtering.
