Resonance Spacing Tuning in Traveling-wave Resonators

Abstract

We propose an interferometric coupling scheme for tuning the spacing between resonances in a traveling-wave resonator. 62pm (8GHz) tuning of resonance spacing is demonstrated in SOI micro-ring resonators integrated with thin-film micro-heaters.
