Large Signal Dynamics of Slow and Fast Light Propagation in Semiconductor Optical Amplifiers

Abstract

A full model for the phase of detected sinusoidal signals with large modulation indices after propagation through a semiconductor optical amplifier is presented with a comparison to a small signal model and an experimental confirmation.
