A simple optical-zooming positioning system using a femtosecond frequency comb

Abstract

A precisely controllable positioning stage based on an optical-zooming interferometer using two diode lasers locked to a fs-comb was developed. The nonlinearity error of positioning was 0.6 nm and control resolution was 20 pm.
