Bacteria manipulation with optically controlled fluidic valves

Abstract

Optically controlled fluidic valves are utilized to concentrate and detect bacteria, selectively switch the pathway of the bacteria, and demonstrate bidirectional fluidic flow within a microfluidic channel.
