Slow and Superluminal Light Pulses via EIT in a 20-metre Acetylene-filled Photonic Microcell

Abstract

Electromagnetically induced transparencies are recorded in a 20 metre acetylene-filled photonic microcell and used to observe pulses of probe light delayed (advanced) by up to 5 ns (1 ns). Suggested applications include interferometry.
