Abstract

We explore theoretically and experimentally efficiency of coherent phasing of 2,4,6,8,10,12,14,16-channel fiber-laser arrays built using fused 50:50 single-mode couplers. Experimental and theoretical results agree well and provide the relationship between array size and combining efficiency.
