Abstract

A stabilized fiber laser is presented for low frequency, sensing applications. Suppression of noise to 15 fε/√Hz (2 Hz/√Hz) is demonstrated at 60 Hz. For a 20 mm sensor, displacement sensitivity of 0.3 fm/√Hz is expected.
