Abstract

We demonstrate resonant amplification and damping in an integrated micromechanical resonator coupled to a waveguide Fabry-Perot microcavity. By varying the laser power and wavelength, the effective mechanical Q-factor (Q0 =2.5×104) is varied from 9.8×103 to 4.9×105.
