Supermode Dispersion of Strongly Coupled Silicon-on-Insulator Waveguides

Abstract

We report measurement of the group index dispersion of the supermodes of a three channel array of strongly coupled silicon-on-insulator waveguides, and compare results with numerical simulations. We observe strong coupling-induced dispersion.
