Abstract

Idler wavelengths in the L- and U-bands were produced from a C-band signal and short-wave infrared pump by three-wave mixing in quasi-phase-matched semiconductor superlattice waveguides. Development of superlattice lasers demonstrates compatibility for monolithic integration.
