Electro-Optical Tunable Time Delay and Advance in Silicon Microring Resonator-Based Notch Filters

Abstract

We report electro-optical tunable time delay/advance using silicon microring resonator-based notch filters. We demonstrated tunable time delay/advance of ~30 ps / ~70 ps at a single wavelength upon a voltage change of 10 mV.
