Fiber Length Optimization in a Dispersion Compensated Fiber Optical Parametric Oscillator

Abstract

Sub-50 fs pulses with linear chirp at 969.4nm are generated using a synchronously-pumped fiber optical parametric oscillator where the suitable fiber length is chosen to compensate the dispersion from optical components inside of the cavity.
