Label-Free Optofluidic Biosensing in Microplate, Microfluidic, and Spot-Based Affinity Capture Assays

Abstract

Photonic crystal reflectance filters are co-fabricated/integrated with microfluidic channels on plastic substrates. Using the kinetic reaction rate constants measured, sensitivity limits and kinetic signal acquisition for label-free biosensing within various assay formats are studied.
