Terahertz Resonance Splitting via Mutual Coupling between Parallel-Plate Waveguide Cavities

Abstract

The inclusion of multiple resonant cavities in a terahertz TE1-mode parallel-plate waveguide induces splitting of the fundamental resonance due to coupling between the cavities. The resulting features have a higher Q-value than the original resonance.
